Sub-decree No.225 on Conditions and Procedures for Construction Inspection and Certification

Introduction

Pursuant to the Construction Law, all construction work is required to comply with the provisions of all construction technical regulations, and the guarantee of compliance with aforesaid provisions of these construction technical regulations shall be done by an individual or company holding or licensed as an inspector, and certifier provided or issued by the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction. Individuals or companies wishing to apply for a license to inspect and certify construction works may be an individual of Khmer nationality or foreign nationality and government officials appointed by the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction.

Types and Levels of Licenses

There are four types of license, each with different grades, as summarized below:

Construction that poses a risk to human life, property or damage to security or public order as defined by the competent authority.

Licenssing Conditions

The requirements to apply for a license shall be in the following categories:
