Prakas No. 193 on Rules and Procedure for Collection of Patent Tax
Ministry of Economy and Finance has issued a Prakas No. 193 on Rules and Procedure for Collection of Patent Tax dated 26 March 2021. This new Prakas on Patent Tax has nullified previously-issued Prakas on Patent Tax. This new Prakas also modifies the word Patent Certificate to "Patent Tax Certificate". Article 7 of the Prakas considers failure to show Patent Tax Certificate at place of business as an act of obstruction of implementation of tax law, which results in additional tax chargeable at 2 million riels.
