The Royal Government of Cambodia has issued a Sub-Decree No. 84 on Business Registration via Electronic System dated 10 June 2020 with purpose to improve business environment and attract investors by facilitating and easing business registration in Cambodia. The Sub-Decree creates a one-stop platform where applicants or their legal representatives can carry on company registration with Ministry of Commerce, tax registration with General Department of Taxation and Declaration of Enterprises Opening with Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training via https://www.registrationservices.gov.kh. The Sub-Decree also shortens the time frame of whole process of business registration with the foresaid government institutions to maximum 8 days. It should be noted that according to the Sub-Decree, certificates and relevant permits can be downloaded via the system and such electronic-version certificates and permits are legally recognized.
